Mariam + Steve chose a local farm, Tabora Farm and Orchard, for their June wedding. They envisioned a summer wedding surrounded by apple trees, fresh produce, and lush plants.
The couple opted for a first look in the Orchard and private vow reading prior to their ceremony. During that time, we utilized all the various areas of the Farm for their romantics. Then, their ceremony was in the center of the orchard followed by a cocktail hour and reception under a tent towards the front of the farm.
Queue Mother Nature, stage right.
One of the most memorable parts of the day (honestly even in my whole career) was when a huge, heavy, fast, hard rainstorm that opened out of the sky immediately after the couple had their first kiss as a married couple and walked down the aisle. Everyone ran for the tent with me following behind Mariam with my camera.
As she ran into the orchard in the direction of the tent she got stuck by a big pool of water. Her cousin ran after her and without any hesitation, threw her over his shoulder like she was nothing and ran full out for the tent. HERO.
