After the planning is over, the food is eaten, and the hustle and bustle of the wedding has calmed, what's left are the photographs.

It’s a collection of all the big occasions – your first look, kiss, and dance. And then the small ones, maybe ones you didn’t even realize were happening – the tear your dad wiped away as you recited your vows or your grandma dancing like a teenager at the reception.

There’s magic in the small things; little movements and gestures that are over in a few seconds.

These little special instances that happen so fast are what I really love about a wedding. They’re what make your wedding photographs tell a real heartfelt story of the day, rather than just picture-perfect details or portraits that you see on Pinterest. Don’t get me wrong, I love the beautiful details and filmy portraits, but the secret sauce – the hidden recipe, it’s in the candids of your loved ones truly celebrating this milestone with you.

My approach to each wedding is very fluid –
I read the room.

I intuitively know when it’s time to hop in and give some direction to assist with making posed portraits feel natural and comfortable, while also knowing when I should blend into the background and document what’s happening all on its own. My goal is that looking back after the wedding is over, you remember me as someone who fit right in with your guests and loved ones rather than someone who stood out from all the others like a sore thumb.

how does this work? Here’s my process:

Sooooo,

1

You’ll fill out my inquiry form here, and I’ll respond back as soon as I can! I pride myself on answering emails quickly so it’ll be within a few hours as long as I'm not photographing a session or wedding.
Check your spam folder!

2

I'll send you all the deets via email. If you'd like, we’ll schedule a time to chat on the phone or a video call so I can answer any questions you have, talk about my process, and I can learn more about you two.

3

You’ll pick which package is right for you both, and I’ll send over a contract and invoice to book your wedding date on my calendar.

4

Once the date is booked, we can start planning the engagement session! I'll help with ideas, outfits, and locations.

5

During the in-between stages of wedding planning when you don’t need me for a bit, I’ll connect with you on social media so I can keep up with you and your lives.

6

I can help with your wedding day timeline as we near your date. We’ll hop on a call and go through the day start to finish to make sure I’m photographing everything that’s important to you.

7

A month before the wedding, I’ll send over my Wedding Day Questionnaire to get some specific logistics for the day-of so I’m prepared. You’ll also give me a list of names for family portraits so that part of the day goes quickly and smoothly.

8

It’s wedding day! I always show up at least half an hour earlier than our start time to ensure there’s no traffic delays and so I can check out your venue. I’ll introduce my second photographer to you both. Then it’s go time! Relax, I got this.

9

Within a week after the wedding, I’ll send a sneak peek of at least 15 photos in an online gallery that you can download and share. The final gallery is delivered within 12 weeks of the wedding!

If you have prints or an album included in your package, I’ll tell you how to pick the photos that you want for those products, and I’ll get started on ordering prints and designing the album.

I always leave the door open to my couples for future sessions! I don’t advertise maternity, newborn, or family sessions but I LOVE photographing any milestones in my couple's lives — so I offer these sessions to my past couples only. This goes for my child-free couples as well. New house? Adopted a dog? Need branding photos for your new business? I'm in.

There’s nothing cooler to me than being able to document important times in your life past the engagement session and wedding. It's a great excuse to see you again!
